Series Statement
The Visitant is an ongoing photographic investigation into transformation and perception. Using botanical forms as its point of departure, the work examines the threshold at which recognition begins to dissolve and structure becomes its own subject.
Each image attends to the interval between presence and dissolution.
Produced as archival pigment prints in small editions, the photographs are conceived for large scale, where close observation reveals the material complexity of each image.
